Domestic Travel

Domestic Travel means travel within the United States that involves students and is officially recognized, sponsored, organized, or funded by Cornell University.

Domestic Assumption of Risk and Release (Waiver):

Please be advised that Cornell requires all students traveling off-campus to complete a Domestic Travel Release of Liability prior to departure. To obtain the Domestic Travel Release of Liability, contact the Office of Risk Management and Insurance. Please retain the signed documents in your records for at least three years.

If A Student Is Under the Age Of 18, Then the Student’s Parent or Legal Guardian Must Complete and Sign a Parental Permission Waiver.

To request Waiver of Liability and Release please complete the Domestic Travel Questionnaire in campusgroups.

Participants engaging in physical activities are required to complete and sign a Participant Waiver – Assumption of Risk and Hold Harmless Agreement. To streamline this procedure, please create an event in CampusGroups.
